🦐 Garlic Butter Shrimp Recipe

 



If you love quick, flavorful meals, this Garlic Butter Shrimp is going to be your new favorite. It’s buttery, garlicky, and packed with all the right seasoning simple enough for a weeknight dinner but tasty enough to impress. 

✨ Ingredients

1 lb shrimp (cleaned and deveined)

A little less than 1 stick of butter

1 small onion, finely chopped

3–4 garlic cloves, finely chopped

1 tbsp olive oil

Seasonings for shrimp:

Onion powder

Garlic powder

Paprika

Maggi seasoning (liquid or all-purpose)


πŸ₯„ Instructions


1. Season the shrimp

In a bowl, add olive oil, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and Maggi seasoning to the shrimp. Mix well and let it sit for about 20 minutes so the flavors soak in.


2. SautΓ© the aromatics

In a pan, melt the butter. Add the finely chopped garlic and onion. Let them cook down until soft and fragrant.


3. Cook the shrimp

Add the seasoned shrimp to the pan. Stir and cook until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through (this only takes a few minutes).


4. Finish & serve

Make sure everything is coated in that garlic butter sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.


🍽️ Serving Ideas 

Serve with white rice or rice & peas.

Pair with pasta for a rich garlic butter shrimp pasta.

Add a side of steamed veggies for a lighter meal.
